RCB answered a call for help from The House of Blessing
The House of Blessing (HOB) is the place for (1) children whose mothers are still in prison, (2) juvenile offenders whom the courts have assigned them to be there and (3) inmates who have done their time in prison and now call it home. They get free meals, and vocational training. Juvenile offenders are sent to and from school. This House also pays for their tuition fee if any. The House of Blessing receives cash donations, foods and other necessary items from donors. There are 164 people living there aged from 1 month to 20 years old including staff.
Last month about 120 children and staff tested positive for Covid-19 so they were sent to Bangpakok Field hospital. Now most of them have recovered and returned but are still in quarantine at the House of Blessing. HOB is asking for Ready to Eat Meals for children living there since their kitchen is closed.
On 1,2,3 September P Vasana and IPP Abdullah delivered meal boxes to these children and staff. We also contributed a few boxes of milk powder for the babies. RC Suan Chitlada has joined us by contributing 10 boxes of UHT milk and donated 5,000 baht directly to the HOB Foundation.
