Mr Anh Minh Vu profile :
- Mr Anh was born in South Vietnam in February, two months before the Vietnam War ended
- He left Vietnam as a “boat people” refugee when he was 12 years old and was rescued by a German ship that took him to Germany where he grew up with his sister and reunited with his family some years later
- He was educated and worked in Germany, Austria and Canada before moving back to Vietnam end of 2004
- In 2005 he founded Terraverde Travel, a boutique travel company that he still manages with his wife
- 2017 He has been accredited Honorary Consul of Mexico in Saigon/ HCM City
- Amidst the pandemic under the RI presidency of Holger Knaack (2020-21), Anh chartered together with 21 founding members RC Saigon Inernational, D3350 as the first Rotary Club in Vietnam after 46 years of absence of Rotary International
- in May 2022 RCSI was assigned by PDG Jason Lim, RI Special Representative for Indochina to host RI president (2021-22) Shekhar Mehta’s visit to Saigon.
